From the Lac du Flambeau Reservation in Wisconsin, Ojibwa singer/songwriter Bobby Bullet has been making music for more than 50 years. Awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Indian Summer Music Awards and inducted into the Native American Music Awards Hall of Fame, Bullet reaches wide audiences with his country/folk songs about personal and historical topics. His latest album Justice in Time was funded by the Native Arts and Cultures Foundation and touches on issues of the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians. In addition to his music career, Bullet travels to schools and prisons, sharing about Native culture and health. He sponsors traditional ceremonies in his home and mentors aspiring songwriters.
