This week, R&B/Pop vocalist Mariame opens up about tracks featured on her debut EP Bloom released earlier this year. Some have already hailed the emerging artist, ‘Cree Rihanna’, for her talented vocal style. Mariame is the first to be signed to Montreal hip-hop artist/producer David Hodges’ new label, N’we Jinan. The label builds on the success Hodges and his team have had working with Cree communities throughout Quebec on music outreach and education. Mariame’s music delves into her personal experience with unhealthy relationships and shares her message of pride for culture.
