Pima/Mexican/Taiwanese singer-songwriter Raye Zaragoza, born and raised in Manhattan, NY, shares a unique brand of folk pop with her debut EP, “Heroine”. The album explores themes of love and taking life by the reins, carrying influences from Jewel to Led Zeppelin. As a child, her father would listen to Mariachi music which first inspired her musical passion. Having performed all over the US as well as France and Mexico, Zaragoza’s music has been featured in TV and film. She headlined at the 2013 LA Skins Music Festival and made the list of “Top Native American Music of 2013”.
