Contemporary Native American artist Wade Fernandez was born and raised on the Menominee Indian Reservation in Wisconsin. Picking up the guitar at age 11, Wade let the deep forests of the reservation inspire what developed into rock, blues, folk, jazz, and country music. His musicianship and storytelling have earned him many awards and nominations over the years including the 2006 NAMMY for “Best Male Artist”.
