Sihasin is the new musical project from siblings Clayson Benally and Jeneda Benally of the band Blackfire. 110614 earthsongs_artist   Sihasin is a Navajo word for hope and assurance, a meaning that comes alive in the duo’s energetic music. Taking from folk, rock, punk, and world music genres, their powerful rhythms, vocal harmonies, and Navajo singing speak to the resistance for environmental and social injustices. Sihasin has been nominated for two Native American Music Awards — “Debut Group of the Year” and “Best Rock Recording”. This Week’s Playlist: Artist (Song) – Album
